Profile

The Shenzhen Creative-Space Design Co., Ltd. was founded in Shenzhen in 2001 by Mr. Yin Yanming. The primary focus of the firm is interior design and other types of built-environment design. The designers in the firm graduated from fine art institutes and architectural schools in China , majoring in the interior design discipline. The design staff has a vast knowledge and rich experience in project design and construction management. The firm maintains consistent business relationships with many well-known enterprises and real estate developers throughout China and is highly respected in the design profession and public society. Striving for sustainable and poetic living environments, the firm believes that the “creative-space” ( chuang-yu ) design is an effectual approach towards both humanity and meaningful life. Through design, we continue embracing new ideas in our quest of understanding in the world that human beings compassionately share. Excellent service and professional ethics constitute the base of the firm for earning the trust and support from our clients, other professionals and the general public. The firm has won interior design awards at multiple levels, including the Pacific Rim, China , Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City . In 2003, one of our hotel projects won the excellent design prize of the Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards (APIDA) competition, sponsored by Hong Kong Association of Interior Designers. While Shenzhen was popularly acclaimed as the Interior Design Capital of Mainland China , the firm won the title of “The Ten Best Interior Designers of Shenzhen” awarded by Shenzhen Association of Interior Designers in 2005 and 2006. Since 2009, the firm, in collaboration with universities from the United States , has been hosting internships for foreign interior design students from the United States .
